One of the most conspicuous manifestations of the commitment of the Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia to develop the nation is its favourable policies that allow participation of private sectors in the education of health professionals.
In response to this national effort to improve the health status of Ethiopian populations, GAMBY College of Medical Sciences has been playing its own role by producing health professionals, and would like to expand its programs to post graduate programs in public health.
GAMBY College of Medical Sciences was officially launched in 1998 EC (2005). It started with three diploma programs in 2005. Now it possesses four BSc. programs, Medical students, and post graduate program in public health in collaboration with Bahir and Debre Markos University. The total number of graduates from 2007 to 2015 is 1073. This curriculum is to start Master of Public Health in reproductive health track training independently.
